North Texas Practical Shooters (NTPS) is a practical pistol shooting club that hosts USPSA pistol matches at the Lock N Load Pistol Club. NTPS is an affiliate club of the United States Practical Shooting Association. NTPS pistol matches are comprised of 5-6 different courses
of fire (stages), with each stage requiring between six and 32 rounds. Competitors are presented with a variety of obstacles to negotiate as well as a selection of target types at each stage in a match. Stages incorporate cardboard paper and steel knockdown targets.

The following is a list of recent additions to our web site. Whenever we update the site, we'll put a notice here. Every few months we'll move the oldest items to the Archive Page. The most recent changes are listed first, and each item is linked to the page with the updated content.
Sticky:
- Online match registration has been updated to allow for pre-payment of match fees. You must register and/or pay by 9 PM on Friday (or Saturday for 5th Sunday matches) before the match to be included in the pre filled signup and squad list. Visit the Match Schedule page to see the new form. If you know you are coming to the match please use this functionality.
- The club has added the 2011 5th Sunday's to the match schedule. For those who cannot come play with us on Saturday's here is your chance!
- We've moved!!! The club has moved to the Lock N Load Pistol Club in Ladonia, TX. Directions are on the Range Info page.

- The September match has been canceled due to the theft of all of our equipment. CCIDPA has graciously offered for us to use their equipment while we rebuild but we are just not in a position to put on the type of match that is warranted for the entry fee we have to charge to cover range fee's. We will regroup and be back for next months match.
